OpenAI cut prices on two of the three GPT-5.6 models on July 30, three weeks after launch.
FEATgpt-5.6-terra goes from $2.50 to $2.00 per million input tokens and $15.00 to $12.00 output, a 20% cut. Cached input follows the same ratio, now $0.20.
FEATgpt-5.6-luna gets the steeper cut, $1.00 to $0.20 input and $6.00 to $1.20 output, 80% down. Cached input drops to $0.02.
gpt-5.6-sol, the flagship, keeps its price: $5.00 input, $30.00 output.
Both models picked up a new point on their price history chart too.
